About The Perfumer
Mathieu Nardin Born and raised in Grasse, France, Mathieu Nardin comes from a family of perfumers. He developed a profound appreciation for natural materials while working in his grandparents' fields, picking jasmine and rose flowers. This early exposure to the world of fragrance led him to pursue a formal education in perfumery at the esteemed ISIPCA perfume school.
After completing his education, Mathieu Nardin began his career in perfumery at Robertet, where he fine-tuned his creativity and olfactory skills. Eventually, he joined Mane, a renowned fragrance company. As part of a new generation of perfumers, Nardin skillfully combines traditional techniques and materials with innovative approaches. His creations include Jacquard for Etro, Iris de Champs for Houbigant, and Blue for Kenneth Cole. More recently, he has collaborated with the British house of Miller Harris, creating Tea Tonique, Rose Silence, and the exceptional Vetiver Insolent.
Nardin has demonstrated his versatility by working with a wide range of brands such as 100 Bon, 4711, Acqua Reale, Al-Jazeera Perfumes, Anna Sui, Atelier Oblique, Baldessarini, Bastide Aix en Provence, Bebe, By Kilian, Commodity, Dana, Etro, Francesca dell'Oro, Furla, Goutal, Helene Fischer, Houbigant, Kenneth Cole, Kierin NYC, Les Bains Guerbois, Mandarina Duck, Marc Jacobs, Miller Harris, Molinard, Nobile 1942, O.P.S.O., Perris Monte Carlo, Philosophy, Régime des Fleurs, Reminiscence, Roger & Gallet, Xerjoff, and Yves Rocher.

Woody Fresh A olfactive group which is a sub-family of fragrances that blends the warmth of woody notes with the bright, crisp character of fresh notes, like citrus and aromatic herbs.
