Matthew Milèo had one big ambition: to create a luxurious skincare line all from mother nature, without chemicals or synthetics, that is “strongly effective, botanically rich, and sensorially divine”. His mission statement is simple: Pure Is Powerful. A wellness advisor, and former in-house beauty & fragrance expert at Chanel, Matthew combined his science degree with his love for nature to create the award-winning Elixir Oud collection. Empowered with the rarest botanical in the world, Oud, he originally designed the line to help his cancer-struck aunt reclaim the vitality lost in her skin. He soon realized, that the ingredients he had sourced and selected for her, could create glowing skin for everyone. In the fall of 2018, Matthew's beloved aunt Joell lost her battle with cancer. In her honor, he has vowed to continue his skincare line to heal, inspire and soothe from the inside out.
